Anti Corruption Commission did a remarkable Job

HC clears way to freezing Unipay2u bank accounts

The High Court on Sunday upheld a lower court order that directed to freeze 110 bank accounts of Unipay2u Bangladesh, a so-called multilevel marketing company.

The HC bench of Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik and Justice Sheikh Md Zakir Hossain rejected a writ petition that challenged the lower court order.

In response to a petition, filed by the Anti Corruption Commission, a Dhaka court on July 6 last year ordered the Bangladesh Bank to freeze 110 bank accounts of the Unipay2u company.

Md Muntasir Hussain and Shahiduzzaman, two directors of the company, filed a writ petition with the HC in January this year challenging the lower court order.

After holding final hearing on the petition, the HC on Sunday rejected the petition

Govt should not let them easily run away from Bangladesh, after a certain period of time
they should have opened a regional Office in Bangladesh.

Its time to collect all the money and let them learn a lesson from Bangladesh!
